refracted glow
I don't know what to label this space...I'll be writing stories, posting pictures and sharing my thoughts on the world and our place in it. I suppose that makes it a blog? Also a space where I sell myself as a marching band designer/consultant…
I'm just a dude who got rid of his apartment and car and lived the past decade out of a backpack, across the United States and the rest of the globe. I thought I'd try to let go of possessions and grab on to everything this vast, mysterious world has to offer instead. After countless discoveries, epiphanies, adventures and failures large and small I decided it was time to share what I've learned- and continue to learn.
Our world is more varied and profound than any of us can fully fathom, but the simple truth is that across this infinite diversity there is still more that connects all living things than divides them. It is my great hope that I can illuminate this in some way, though in the end I know that my description will be but an indirect and incomplete perspective...something I liken to a 'refracted glow' in my own weird way.
Ultimately, each of us must find the truth for ourselves.
